Confirmation

"It is evident from its celebration that the effect of the sacrament of Confirmation is the special outpouring of the Holy Spirit as once granted to the apostles on the day of Pentecost." // Catechism of the Catholic Church #1302

Welcome to Confirmation! This is YOUR Pentecost, the moment when you will be sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and will be called into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church. We are so excited that you are beginning this journey, and we are here for you every step of the way.

At Most Holy Trinity, Confirmation preparation is split into two years. Typically, Year 1 begins in sophomore year of high school and Year 2 is junior year, culminating with the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation at the end of junior year or beginning of senior year. All Confirmation candidates must be registered for and attend High School Youth Ministry AND Confirmation Prep. Click HERE to register online!

Confirmation Year 2 (11th grade) will receive formation in addition to the Alpha Nights (Fall 2020's Youth Ministry Nights) . We will be making our way through the Youth Catechism (affectionately called the YOUCAT). Get ready to dive into our faith in a deeper way. There will be weekly assignments that will be completed at home. Information, the semester's schedule, and YOUCATs will be given out at our Youth Kickoff Sept 9, 6:30-8pm in the Church. Parents, please be sure to attend too.
